Lauren grew up in Santa Clarita. She graduated from California State University Channel Islands with a degree in Psychology. Lauren worked as a behavioral therapist to children with autism and other mental disabilities teaching life skills and education. After graduation she began work at a group home with adolescent boys on probation. There she provided counseling to youth on life skills, anger management, gang involvement, drug use, and coping skills. She worked to get at-risk youth positively involved in their community by reaching out to others in need through charity organizations. Lauren enjoys working with youth and is excited to be working with the Youth Project.
