Giselle earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Cal State Fullerton. Then became a behavioral therapist where she taught children with autism and other developmental disabilities. She also worked with the children’s families to teach ABA therapy skills they could use with their children.
Giselle has also volunteered at a mental hospital in Norwalk. While there, she had the pleasure of assisting patients with activities and accompanying them to outings and group therapy sessions.
Most recently, she served the elderly at a skilled nursing facility and hospice. Giselle was a strong advocate for patients and provided counseling services to patients and their families.
Currently, she is pursuing her Masters of Social Work degree at Azusa Pacific University. She feels honored and proud to be a part of the Youth Project and to have the opportunity to work with the youth of Santa Clarita.
