For over 26 years, Nancy has been a local Real Estate Salesperson and was the President and Director of the Southland Regional Association of Realtors, SCV Division, for 4 years, 1998, 1999 2009 and 2014. Currently, she is President-Elect for Southland Regional Association of Realtors which covers the entire region of 10,000 Realtors.
Since 1990, Nancy has been working on a volunteer basis with the Association of Realtors in Local Government Affairs, Marketing, Multiple Listing Service, Special Events, Education, Communication, Nominating, Foundation, President’s Advisory and Bylaws Committee. She is a California State Director on the Legislative Committee, Business and Investment Committee for the State. She is Vice Chair of the Realtor Action Fund for the State of California. She participated in the regionalization and merger of the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valleys into the Southland Regional Association of Realtors.
Nancy is also a Director of the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber and Liaison for the Government Affairs Committee.
Among her many achievements, she is the recipient of Member of the Year in Real Estate in 2001 and 2013, was awarded the Carmen Sarro Woman of the Year in 2008, SRAR Service Award in 2011 and Realtor of the Year in 2015 and nominated as SCV Woman of the Year in 2016.
For 7 years Nancy worked on the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Foundation for the Christmas Home Tour, as a designer, a fundraiser, a volunteer and sang for the Fellowship Circle. She worked with the Home Town Jamboree as Silent Auction Chair. Nancy also sang at “Burnt Sulphur” for the Sulphur Springs Elementary School and performed at the Santa Clarita Valley Footlight Follies.
Currently, Nancy is on the Board of the SCV Youth Project. She has held the position of President, Secretary and Member at Large. She has been on the Board since June of 2000.
“The minute I heard about the Youth Project’s efforts, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. The wonderful work that has been done and the lives that have been touched is revealed every day. Not only our youth but their whole families have benefitted. I am so proud to be part of such a vital organization!”
Nancy has also supported and been a fundraiser for Child Spree, the Senior Center, College of the Canyons, Betty Ferguson Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Child and Family Development, Michael Hoefflin Foundation and the Boys & Girls Club.
Nancy speaks sign language. Since childhood, she has assisted the deaf at the School for the Deaf at Riverside, CSUN, Birmingham High School and Arminta Elementary School.
Nancy is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and married to her childhood sweetheart Allen for 52 years! Her passion is gardening, birding and interior design. When time permits, Nancy & Allen love to travel.
