Grab your mallets and a hula hoop, put on your pedal pushers and head out to the most exclusive and eclectic event in town. SCV Youth Project is hosting its annual Croquet Classic on October 9, 2004 at Highlands Green Private Park in the Westridge community. This event will be everything but your traditional tea and crumpets.

We’ll play croquet and be taken back to the days of mom’s apple pie, baseball, soda pop girls and diners as time is rewound. This year’s Croquet Classic will feature renowned musical guest Captain Cardiac and the Coronaries and catering provided by Original Tommy’s, world famous hamburgers.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the community’s local youth and families who take advantage of the SCV Youth Project and the various programs the organization offers. The SCV Youth Project is a local non-profit organization that strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment where teens and families are strengthened, empowered and equipped with the tools they need to live successful and fulfilling lives.
