My name is Jessi Strahan and I am 22 years old. I grew up in Santa Clarita and graduated in 2008 from West Ranch High School. After going to College of the Canyons and receiving my AA in Psychology and Sociology, I went on to receive my BA in Psychology from Chapman University. This is my first year at CSUN and I will graduate in 2014 with my Masters in Social Work. Outside of school I volunteer at the Castaic Animal Shelter and am a youth leader at my church. I am very passionate about many different issues but I would love to work with kids in junior high and high school. I find that this age group is very special in that it is a transitioning period between childhood and adulthood. I look forward to interning at SCV Youth Project and making an impact in many lives.
