I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and left for the military at age 18. I served in the United States Air Force for a total of ten years. I have traveled all over the world from Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan. While traveling I participated within the community by being involved in community activities such as volunteering at orphanages. After serving 10 years in the Air Force I moved to California and started school at California State University Northridge. I graduate From CSUN with a B.A. in sociology/Criminology in 2010. I am continuing education at California State University Northridge by attending the Graduate program, Masters of Social Work. I hope to one day use my social work degree to actively participate in advocating for military personnel with psychological or mental disorders.
