
Jennifer is the Assistant Director of Field Education for the Master of Social Work Program at California State University, Northridge.
She also teaches gradate level courses in mental health diagnosis, human behavior, trauma, healthcare & social work and field practice. Additionally, she has collaborated with UCLA, USC, CSULB, CSUDH, CSUF, APU and CSULA.
Prior to joining the faculty at CSUN, Jennifer worked as a Clinical Consultant at a locked psychiatric hospital. She has worked in the areas of mental health and medical social work for the past 20 years.
Jennifer is a graduate of CSUN (B.A. 1985). She received her MSW at UCLA in 1988 and has been a licensed clinical social worker in California since 1991.
Jennifer has served on the SCVYP board since January 2009; she works closely with the Youth Project to provide quality graduate students to work with the youth as peer mentors.
Jennifer also serves on the Board of Directors for Single Mothers Outreach since June of 2008.
