For 16 years Jackie worked as a producer, creative director and consultant in television, specializing in marketing women’s programming for NBC, Warner Bros, Paramount, Hallmark Channel, etc.
Jackie finally left the rat race to better balance her professional life with that of her family. Jackie, her husband Jeff, and three kids, Jacob, Brady and Lucy have been living in Santa Clarita for more than five years and love the community!
While she writes and consults on several national Websites (Disney’s “From the Hip” column at Family.com, and a regular contributor of GetHatched.com (founded by Teri Hatcher), it’s her passion for the SCV community that led to create SCVMomsBlog.com, a site that gives moms in Santa Clarita a voice, helping them to create a better quality of life for their families.
Jackie has spent countless hours on non-profit projects, acting as a volunteer coach, a teen mentor for The Fulfillment Fund and raising thousands for a variety of organizations close to her heart; specifically for Breast Cancer research and causes involving Autism/Special Needs.
Jackie contributes her talent to numerous other worthwhile non-profits in the Santa Clarita Valley, but officially joined the Youth Project board in 2010, bringing her web and fundraising expertise. Jackie is a recent recipient of the Santa Clarita Business Journal, “40 Under 40″ leadership award for 2010.
